The club organizes an outing on the fourth Tuesday each month. These outings are planned as day activities and frequently we use the North Sydney Community bus. Occasionally a day train trip is arranged. Trips in recent times have included visits to the Nan Tien Buddhist Temple, the Museum of Fire at Penrith, a tour of the Campbelltown area and a conducted tour by a local historian of the art history of the Richmond area, made famous by painters such as Streeton.

Our walks are designed, not only to provide healthy exercise, but also to help us discover parts of Sydney we might not otherwise visit. The level of difficulty is not high and the walks are chosen to enable as many as possible to participate. They usually last no longer than two hours and the walkers usually dine together following the walk. Some walks are chosen for the view; others are chosen for their historical interest and include visits to early graveyards or to historic buildings.
