Informal Activities

Members are encouraged to get together informally to express their friendship and connection. Such get-togethers are not part of Armstrong Creek Probus Club’s formal roster of activities even if they occur on a semi-regular basis.

Currently there are two regular informal activities:

• Drinks and nibbles on a Monday afternoon at 4pm. During winter this is at private members’ homes. In summer, venue is often at Mirambeena Park on Warralily Boulevard, where members can enjoy a game of Pétanque if the inspiration takes them.
• Fortnightly Trivia Night at the Grovedale Hotel. This is a public event that some members attend regularly or on an ad-hoc basis.

If a member wants to organise an informal get-together, or invite members to join them for a public event, they are welcome to post an invitation on the Club’s Facebook page.
