Active seniors who are retired or semi-retired and interested in becoming members should attend at least one meeting and then, if interested in joining, request an application form from the Membership Officer or Secretary.  If a vacancy exists, membership applications are considered at the monthly committee meeting, which follows the monthly general meeting.  If there is a vacancy and the application is approved, the member will be advised to pay their membership fee and will then be registered with Probus South Pacific as a member.  A name badge will be ordered and, once received, the member will be inducted as a member at the next general meeting of the club that they are able to attend.  Contact the membership officer at [email protected] if you would like more details.   

Visitors are welcome to attend up to two club meetings and three activities as a visitor before deciding whether to apply for membership or cease involvement in club activities.  Note that there is currently a waitlist for membership.

Our annual fees are $60 per annum and there is a one off joining fee of $40.  We also request all members to pay $40 for  meeting fees for the year to cover morning teas and speakers   Fees are pro-rated depending on the month a member joins as renewals are due at 31 March each year.
